Job Purpose
Maintaining SABIS® technologies and implementing the procedures of these technologies at the school to ensure an effective, secure, and efficient school operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make sure to apply all security and infrastructure standards (backup, firewall security, Windows update, and others) as per the SABIS® policies in coordination with the regional IT Team and the SABIS® HQ IT Infrastructure\Security teams.
- Performing administrative tasks, such as recruitment, training, plans, objectives, budgets, policies, and procedures, and liaising with the regional IT Team and SABIS® HQ to complete these duties.
- Accomplishes IT staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating.
- Installing and deploying all new SABIS® software applications and releases and ensuring full and proper usage of the software systems and solutions by granting proper access rights, training end users, and deploying support manuals on all SABIS® and third-party IT solutions, in addition to keeping users posted on new updates.
- Reporting all encountered valid malfunctions and abnormalities in the SABIS® application software and issues/requests through SABIS® Service Management.
- Oversee the Procurement of all IT related assets by ensuring that specs are met based on SABIS Standards and with the best price.
- Accountable for Maintaining network infrastructure, data integrity and backups.
- Applying disaster plans that will keep the company functional in the event of a crisis.
- Supporting Students, parents, and staff to have a smooth usage on the SABIS solutions (E-Books, SABIS Digital platforms…)
- Providing ongoing technical support for all school users and designing training programs and workshops for them.
- Run and maintain the school management system and ensure that tasks are delegated properly within the IT Department.
- Perform other IT related tasks as they arise and as delegated by the SABIS® management.
Ideal Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related subject matter and/or equivalent
- English Proficient; Local language where applicable
- A minimum of 3 years of experience
- Cisco or MCITP is preferred
- MS Office needed components
- Communication Skills
- Ability to work within a team
- MS Operating Systems, Active Directory, Server and User management
- Networks and Networks Security
- Database Management Systems
- Problem solving
