Job Purpose
The Digital Media Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing digital marketing and student recruitment campaigns, ensuring strong online presence and consistent lead generation across relevant Chinese digital platforms. This role involves applying in-depth knowledge of local consumer behavior, platform dynamics, and market trends to design targeted, high-impact campaigns that strengthen brand positioning and support enrolment growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing localized digital marketing strategies targeting families, students, and parent communities in China.
- Planning, launching, and optimizing paid advertising campaigns to support enrollment and brand awareness.
- Monitoring campaign performance and continuously optimizing activities based on KPIs, lead quality, and ROI.
- Managing and allocating digital advertising budgets across Chinese media platforms.
- Managing and growing the school’s presence across key Chinese platforms, including WeChat, Xiaohongshu (RED), Bilibili, Zhihu, Baidu, and the Tencent ecosystem.
- Executing lead generation campaigns focused on student recruitment and parent engagement.
- Developing targeting and retargeting strategies to enhance campaign reach and conversion.
- Managing conversion tracking, CRM integrations, and lead nurturing workflows.
- Optimizing campaign performance based on CPL (Cost per Lead), CTR (Click-Through Rate), conversion rates, and enrollment outcomes.
- Creating and adapting localized content aligned with brand identity and market expectations.
- Collaborating with content and design teams to deliver engaging and impactful campaigns.
- Ensuring messaging is culturally relevant and tailored to specific platforms.
- Implementing and managing SEO and SEM strategies to improve visibility and traffic.
- Analyzing website and campaign performance using analytics tools to generate actionable insights.
- Preparing regular performance reports including insights, lead analysis, and optimization recommendations.
- Staying up-to-date with platform changes, algorithm updates, and advertising regulations in China.
- Conducting competitor analysis and identifying growth opportunities in the market.
- Performing other related tasks as they arise and as delegated by the Management.
Ideal Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Communications, or their equivalent
- English and Chinese Proficient
- A minimum of 3 to 5 of digital marketing experience, preferably in education or international schools
