Job Purpose
The Corporate Alumni Engagement Officer will support the implementation and continuous improvement of SABIS®'s alumni engagement initiatives across the Network. This role is responsible for supporting efforts to build and nurture a connected alumni community that strengthens relationships between graduates, SABIS® schools, and current students. The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for alumni initiatives, coordinating stakeholder engagement activities, alumni communications, events, and data management efforts. The role requires a highly proactive and relationship-oriented professional capable of effectively coordinating initiatives and supporting engagement activities across the network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of the SABIS® alumni engagement strategy and contribute to building an active, connected, and engaged alumni community across the network.
- Coordinate and support the planning and execution of alumni programs, networking initiatives, and regional or global events that foster meaningful alumni involvement and long-term engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with alumni, school leaders, and key stakeholders, serving as a primary point of contact for alumni-related initiatives, inquiries, and engagement activities.
- Collaborate with schools, internal departments, and external partners, including universities and employers, to support alumni engagement objectives and strengthen alumni opportunities and connections.
- Coordinate and implement alumni communications across multiple channels, supporting the development of content, campaigns, and promotional materials while ensuring consistent messaging and brand alignment.
- Maintain accurate alumni records and databases, support the effective use of CRM and engagement platforms, and ensure data quality, compliance, segmentation, and tracking processes are followed.
- Monitor alumni participation, engagement trends, interests, and program effectiveness; generate reports and insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Support the implementation of alumni engagement frameworks, policies, and best practices across the network, identifying opportunities to enhance alumni experiences, participation, and overall engagement.
Ideal Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Education, Public Relations, International Relations, or a related field
- Master's degree or postgraduate qualification is an advantage
- SABIS® graduate and/or prior SABIS® experience is required
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in alumni relations, stakeholder engagement, community building, communications, relationship management, event management, or a related field
- Experience coordinating and supporting engagement, networking, or community-building initiatives
- Experience coordinating projects involving multiple stakeholders
- Experience using CRM systems, engagement platforms, and data analytics tools is an advantage
