Job Purpose
The Project Manager plays a vital role in planning, leading, organizing, and motivating project teams in relevant departments to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivering projects on time within budget and scope that provide exceptional business value to users, according to SABIS® philosophy, procedures, and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting and defining comprehensive project documentation, including the project scope, timelines, resource requirements, and expected outcomes to ensure clarity and feasibility of the project objectives
- Organizing and leading project status and working meetings, correcting deviations from plans, and performing delivery planning for assigned projects
- Assisting in setting and managing client expectations, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders, and establishing a strong project governance framework
- Adhering to business standards and organizational policies, and ensuring that all project activities comply with legal and procedural guidelines
- Overseeing and monitoring the implementation of the new system in collaboration with stakeholders to guarantee a seamless system transition and integration
- Monitoring project milestones to track overall progress and regularly updating stakeholders through detailed progress reports accordingly
- Identifying potential risks proactively, developing mitigation strategies as per the plan, and resolving issues promptly as they arise to minimize effects on the project's scope, timeline, and quality
- Choosing and implementing appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, and assessing their performance by using effective tools and techniques
- Encouraging team development and a cooperative work atmosphere, ensuring active participation among all team members, and supporting their professional growth
- Facilitating a successful project handover and providing ongoing support for any post-deployment inquiries or necessary software adjustments when and as needed
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, ensuring all project deliverables are stored up-to-date and managed appropriately for future reference
- Performing other related tasks as they arise and as delegated by the Management
Ideal Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Computing, Computer Engineering, Finance and Accounting, or an equivalent
- English and Arabic Proficient
- PMP or AgilePM Certification
- A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in software development, and in the management of ERP implementation projects
