Job Purpose

The IT Quality Controller ensures the high quality and reliability of IT systems and software by conducting quality assurance processes, performing tests, and resolving defects before launch, in collaboration with the development team, to meet SABIS® standards and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understanding and analyzing business specifications to deliver comprehensive and effective solutions
• Developing and executing test cases to ensure software adheres to business rules, functionalities, and performance standards without errors
• Analyzing and troubleshooting issues encountered during manual and automated testing, and during development to ensure reliable software solutions
• Implementing quality control standards and guidelines to maintain high-quality outputs
• Documenting test plans thoroughly for clear understanding of modifications or changes in the code process by the team
• Reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Providing input on user stories and updating them as necessary to reflect accurate requirements
• Developing and maintaining deliverables throughout sprints until they are handed over to end users
• Ensuring software deliverables meet acceptance criteria and are ready for deployment
• Creating test plans and identifying tasks, dependencies, and participants to mitigate risks to system quality
• Applying new and changed requirements during the development process to ensure up-to-date solutions
• Executing the defined test plan to validate software quality and performance
• Updating the impediment log and dependencies to track and resolve issues efficiently
• Performing other related tasks as they arise and as delegated by the Management

Ideal Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Computing, Computer Engineering, or their equivalent
• English proficient
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a relevant field
