Job Purpose
The Software Solutions Director provides executive oversight for the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of software solutions across multiple operational units. This role ensures that teams and processes work seamlessly to meet organizational objectives, driving efficiency, and quality. Acting as a unifying leader, the Software Solutions Director sets priorities, monitors performance, and empowers managers to execute effectively while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement. With strong leadership and change management capabilities, this position ensures operational excellence and alignment with broader business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile practices, and product management processes
- Defining and executing technology roadmaps in alignment with business priorities based on the executive leadership team
- Overseeing and communicating project timelines and progress to the Executive Director, providing timely escalation of critical risks or issues to enable informed decision-making
- Communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to bridge business needs and technical solutions
- Implementing structured change management initiatives to sustain process and cultural improvements
- Coaching and mentoring senior managers and technical leads to enhance leadership capabilities and emotional maturity
- Conducting and reviewing the performance evaluation cycle for the team to assess contributions, identify development needs, and support career growth
- Driving cross-functional collaboration to ensure strategic alignment, proactively resolving interdepartmental conflicts, and maintaining focus on organizational priorities and key deliverables
- Leading a multi-disciplinary team of professionals across multiple specialized units to deliver high-quality, business-aligned software solutions
- Performing other related tasks as they arise and as delegated by the Management
Ideal Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Computing, or equivalent
- A Master’s degree is a plus
- English Proficient
- PMP® and Agile certifications are a plus
- A minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in a leadership role, with a strong record of successfully leading large, cross-functional IT teams
- Proven ability to drive organizational and cultural transformation, cultivating collaborative, high‑performance work environments
- Strong understanding of enterprise-level software solutions and governance frameworks
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile frameworks, and software delivery lifecycle governance
- Knowledge of enterprise software solutions, product management, and roadmap planning
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, cloud concepts, and modern software engineering principles
- Ability to bridge technical and business teams, translating requirements into actionable solutions
