Job Purpose

Responsible for ensuring smooth IT operations and providing technical support across all schools within the assigned region. The role combines operational oversight with hands-on technical expertise to maintain infrastructure\SABIS Apps, resolve issues, and support strategic IT initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Operations Management

• Collaborate closely with the School IT Manager & Regional Academic Team to support daily operations and ensure effective service delivery
• Ensure compliance with SES IT standards and policies by running regular checks on network, application and data security
• Monitor system performance and availability

Technical Support

• Provide Level 2/3 support for hardware, software, and network issues for schools remotely or through potential visits
• Coordinate with SES IT Infra, Security and Software teams for escalations
• Manage troubleshooting and resolution of critical incidents
• Communicating change management related to IT infrastructure best practices to appropriate business teams and departments
• Conduct regular training and coaching sessions for school staff and IT personnel on software\System usage and best practices

Infrastructure & Network

• Maintain local servers, network devices, and connectivity
• Support implementation of security protocols and backups
• Assist in infrastructure upgrades and deployments

Dashboard & Reporting

• Log and update all IT issues in the dashboard until resolution
• Generate periodic reports on IT performance and compliance

 Project Support

• Assist in region-level IT projects and rollouts
• Provide technical input for new initiatives
• Support the implementation of new software features and updates in coordination with the SES Software Support Team

Vendor & Asset Management

• Coordinate with local vendors for procurement and maintenance
• Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets

Ideal Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, or their equivalent
• English and Arabic Proficient
• A minimum of 5 to 7 years experience in a relevant field
• Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification (or its equivalent) is required.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is a plus
