Job Purpose
The Admissions Officer is responsible for handling, organizing, and coordinating all administrative processes related to student admissions ensuring a smooth, efficient, and timely enrolment experience. This role supports prospective students and families throughout the admissions journey while ensuring accurate records, clear communication, and a positive admissions experience aligned with the school’s standards and reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Introducing prospective parents and students to the SABIS® Educational System and providing guided tours of the school campus.
- Handling student registration procedures, including applications and diagnostic tests.
- Maintaining accurate records and generating reports on inquiries, applications, and enrolment statistics.
- Delivering annual enrolment targets and maintaining continuous increase in student numbers to secure a positive and sustainable yearly growth rate.
- Following up with parents to provide guidance on admissions procedures and ensuring completion of all required documentation.
- Collaborating with the relevant staff members to ensure marketing materials are up to date, available, and effectively distributed to the target audience.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key external stakeholders including embassies, universities, companies, NGOs, nurseries, ministries, etc. to enhance the school’s visibility, promote its educational framework, and drive student enrolment.
- Coordinating the registration of students for external examinations in compliance with relevant requirements.
- Supporting students with university applications by liaising with universities and monitoring application progress and acceptances.
- Preparing, managing, and submitting student records and official documentation required by the Ministry of Education.
- Coordinating the preparation and distribution of end-of-term reports to parents and students.
- Performing other related tasks and projects as assigned by the school management.
Ideal Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject matter and/or equivalent
- English Proficient; knowledge of the local language is a plus
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant field
