Job Purpose
The Director of Admissions and Outreach leads the development, implementation and execution of admissions and recruitment strategies of prospective students and families. The Admissions and Outreach Director is a motivated and creative leader has ability to attract and retain new high-quality students into our community. The Admissions and Outreach Director ensures the school and SABIS® brand, philosophy, systems, policies, and procedures are properly implemented and observed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, implementation and execution of ISM’s admissions strategies which includes outreach for lead generation.
- Oversee student recruitment team efforts ensuring organizational alignment.
- Grow community partnerships and strategic business relationships to enhance school awareness and increase local interest.
- Partner with the International Student Coordinator to achieve an optimal dormitory residence enrollment.
- Develop processes that support applicants and interested visitors in all stages of the interest/application process.
- Oversee the communication path to enhance the generation, nurture and enrollment of leads.
- Perform direct market and customer research and outreach collaboratively with the Deputy Director and Executive Director.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing to create collateral materials that support recruitment, enrollment and retention efforts of new and current students.
- Prepare and present forecasting including competitive analysis with designed proposals to increase enrollment and interest as well as conversion numbers.
- Represent the School and its interests at both internal and external events.
- Plan and execute professional, high-quality, high-yielding recruitment events.
- Train front office and admissions staff on processes and procedures, as well as branding & messaging for optimal engagement.
- Lead the activities of Recruitment and Enrollment (planning and scheduling) for students at ISM.
- Foster a collaborative, fun & engaging work environment.
Ideal Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Marketing, Communications, Public Relations and/or related field
- At least 2 years' experience leading a minimum of 1-position with oversight/management responsibilities.
- At least 1 year at a private primary or secondary school with admissions duties.
- Successful history of lead generation and development.
- Advanced negotiation and persuasive communication skills.
- Awareness of state and federal laws, with ability to remain up to date on requirements.
- Must reside or be willing to relocate self within a 30-mile radius of school.
- Must be willing to fluctuate schedule or be flexible to achieve agreed upon goals and/or metrics.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
