Job Purpose
Monitor and ensure that aspects of IT services are maintained properly in order to achieve business continuity on premises and on the cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Center and Cloud Monitoring:
- Manage organization’s systems on premise and on cloud
- Install and configure software and system updates
- Monitor systems performance
- Monitor backups
- Data Center Resolutions:
- Diagnose and resolve problems when alerted by a user or an automated monitoring system
- Data Backup Strategies: Ensure data backup strategies are well implemented to maintain data integrity and availability
- Technical Strategies and Standards: Ensure IT Infrastructure and security technical standards are properly implemented to guarantee business continuity
- Process Implementation: Ensure IT Infrastructure and security processes are effectively implemented
- Data protection and security:
- Perform data protection and security under pressure and make sure backups are verifiable and accurate
- Ensures data storage networks within a datacenter are working effectively
- Documentation and Standardization:
- Technical Documentation: Coordinate with HQ IT Teams to create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for IT systems, standards, and configurations
- Standardized Configurations: Adhere to configuration technical best practices and legal compliance such as GDPR and various other data privacy rights acts
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Research and Innovation: Collaborate with HQ IT Teams to research and test emerging technologies and trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement
- Support Tasks: Assist the school operations when needed
Ideal Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, or their equivalent
- English Proficient
- A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a relevant field
- Certificates in any area of Systems Administrations, Azure, Operating Systems is a plus
