Job Purpose
Coordinate and support implementation of SABIS® program methodologies, instructional materials, curriculum, and protocols of the SABIS® Educational System (an integrated Kindergarten through 12th grade academic program) in the SABIS® U.S. network of private and charter schools. The position plays a key role in the SABIS® education business model, ensuring education targets are reached each year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop instructional material, coordinate educational content, and incorporate current technology into instruction to provide guidelines to educators and instructors for developing curricula and conducting courses
- Analyze results to identify areas of academic need within SABIS® U.S. network to be able to allocate relevant resources and improve academic performance
- Attend charter school board meetings to provide information regarding academic results
- Ensure smooth and efficient working relations to positively impact the organization
- Advise teaching and administrative staff in curriculum development, and use of materials and equipment
- Develop, fine tune, and automate academic operation processes to ensure quality deliverables to ensure a smooth workflow
- Ensure SABIS® Academic Operations Department (AOD), subject matter experts, and others ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and protocols
- Analyze performance data to determine effectiveness of instructional systems, courses, or instructional materials
- Position manages about 4 regional subject coordinator roles
Ideal Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree, or an equivalent combination of education, in any discipline with a major in Secondary Education, Teaching, or School Administration
- A minimum of 8 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in an educational leadership role, monitoring student academic performance, developing plans and processes for elevating performance standards, planning teacher training programs or workshops, and implementing learning products.
